Registrations are now open for the Alice Springs Masters Games tennis tournament. The games run from 10th to 17th October 2026
Opening ceremony is on Saturday 10th October 2026 including a rock concert featuring “Baby Animals” and “Choirboys”
Tennis starts on Sunday at 5pm until 930pm. Tennis is played every evening from 5pm to 930pm Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. No tennis on Wednesday evening so that players can attend the Masters Games street Party. For the first time in the games history the Tennis tournament will qualify for National Ranking Tournament points thanks to the great work by Alice Springs Tennis Club president, Joel Crawford. The tournament will be conducted on 8 artificial grass tennis courts under lights after sunset. A great way for players in the southern states to kick off their tennis seasons.
Weather in Alice Springs in mid-October is normally warm to hot during the day without being extreme, and the nights are balmy in the mid to high teens.
